It was about two families bringing their assets together. The daughter was given (without her consent) to a man she barely knew. Then, the idea of courting came along so the daughter had time to figure out if she could truly love the man. Now it’s all about love.

President Obama said the word “marriage” is the reason he took so long to pass it, because when speaking about gay people it caused a lot of disturbance. I just hope people gain the human respect for all individuals soon.
