Ever since the Billboard Awards on Sunday, John Legend’s girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen, has been getting a lot of threats for shading Chris Brown. I went through her Twitter account and got my life. I think that girl may have a lil thug in her.
Right befroe Chris‘ performance, Chrissy tweeted:
Her timeline is actually full of shady tweets that remind me of the tweets from black Twitter during any award show. That damn girl is funny as hell. And I just love how her management and publicist let her get away with it.
Chrissy has been defending herself on Twitter since then. Team Breezy is crazy as hell. I hope Bey stans know better.
“Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats!” Brown tweeted today. “I know y’all bout that life but it’s the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!”
… “I’m ‘insane’ for talking about it for hours. No mention of how insane you have to be to create 10+ accounts to write me 100s of times,” Teigen ultimately tweeted yesterday in reference to the number of messages she received, many of them belonging to people whose accounts have since been deleted.
… “I said things about EVERYONE who performed. negative and positive. interesting that only one ‘team’ is rabid,” Teigen responded to @BigBadWolf, who wrote toher, “Sorry Boo, but you had to know what was going to happen, you’ve expressed on more than one occasion about your dislike of Chris Brown, after a while it seems like hate and his true fans have always stuck up for him and always will.”
“@robevans656 noticed you deleted it. not a good look, eh?” Teigen tweeted to another guy who had previously written,” I don’t beat women, but you are one bitch I will make an exception for.”
In response to fans who came to her defense and asked why people were deleting their comments after the fact, Teigen explained: “accounts deleted due to ohhhhh, i dunno. telling me i’m getting a bullet to my brain, asking for me to be raped and murdered…normal stuff. But oh, I have some screen caps. And I will do everything I can to make sure people know, internet or not, you CAN’T say this s–t.”
Ultimately, Teigen wrote, “This is less about chris and more about the insanity that spews out of the rabid mouthes of team breezy. done. there will be no more said.”
Of course Chris Brown would have deleted those tweets by then. He’s king of deleting tweets. But these ones were still around.
I wonder if Team Breezy was as rude to Pink and Joe Jonas as they have been to Chrissy. How do you all feel about this?
