During a promotional interview on MTV News for Ciara’s new movie, That’s My Boy, featuring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, Ciara announced her new album, One Woman Army, and her first single, Sweat.

This announcement encouraged a battle between the BeyHive and C-Squad last night on Twitter. I’m sure you can all guess what the back and forth was about – “Ciara should just be a backup dancer or a model.” “How is she a ‘one woman army’ and she can barely fight her way to the top of the charts?” “What’s a Ciara?”

My personal opinion is I wish the best for Ciara in her endeavors. It was mentioned that Ciara’s promotional tours are usually lackluster, and her trigger happy stans aren’t as quick with forking up the money to buy them albums. I hope under new management with Epic Records, she will be able to promote herself a number one. I’m not gon’ knock the girl until she messes up.
