What Does Chris Brown’s Incident with Rihanna Have to Do With His Career?

TMZ created a video of Chris Brown leaving a club, and one of the people that attended the TMZ discussion meeting called Chris, “one of the most talented people on the planet,” and that’s when things got heated.

Most of the crew were already upset that he was partying, taking pictures with “careless” fans, and still surviving in his career. It made me think of the reaction to him winning that Grammy in February. People thought he shouldn’t have won it because of his incident with Rihanna, but I had failed to see the correlation. No, I wouldn’t call him the most talented person on the planet, or even put him in my top 5. But, when will he no longer be condemned for his actions with Rihanna?

I want to ensure you that my defending him does not mean that I condone domestic violence in any way, but why is it fair that after what happened over 3 years ago, Chris should still be paying the consequences? I particularly think it’s outrageous since Rihanna (the woman involved) has forgiven him and moved on, so why can’t we? Why is it our business in the first place? Since this doesn’t concern me, I believe I have to remain impartial and separate the man from his music.  This is more than likely why some celebrities like to keep their personal lives so private like Raven, Oprah, and Anderson Cooper. It creates a conflict of interest when you merge the two.

This video really made me understand why Chris doesn’t want to be seen on anyone’s talk show to discuss his Fortune album. The media just will not let this go. Do you think it’s fair?

Check out the video after the jump and post your thoughts?

Agree, no one talks about Sean penn, Charlie Sheen and most of rappers that hit woman, but they always bring it up to Chris. I feel that he paid for it and they needs to let it go.
