Yesterday, Twitter and the blogs were in an uproar after it was reported that Chris Brown and Rihanna had unfollowed each other on Twitter. I remember when they followed each other last year and similar events took place. I think the meanest side eye of the day had to go to Global Grind who wrote this: “Rihanna was so pissed about the diss, she unfollowed Chris Brown on Twitter (Yes, GlobalGrind checked all 784 people she’s following), and in turn, Chris Brown unfollowed her back (Yes, we went through the 1,513 people he follows).” Global Grind, y’all officially did a lot there.

In Chris Brown’s freestyle for Theraflu, some lines struck listeners as a little odd. I didn’t pay attention to the song yesterday when posting it, so I didn’t catch it myself.

Don’t f*ck with my old bitches/like a bad fur/every industry n*gga done had her/trick or treat like a pumpkin/ just to smash her

Rihanna must’ve gotten wind of the new track, because shortly after the song hit the net, she tweetgrammed a funny photo that read, “Take that thumb out of your ass.”

Then Chris tweeted this:

Girl.

I’m really not here for Rihanna and Chris’ stunts and shows. First it was Rihanna dissing Karoochie, and now it’s this. And the the kicker is that people are playing right into it and giving it all the attention it doesn’t deserve. Particularly, when people begin adding in their two cents about their relationship. People were upset when she forgave him and they started following each other on Twitter. Now they’re upset because she got angrier over a lyric than a beat down. Whatever.
