Lil Wanye Says Peter Rosenberg Didn’t Respect Nicki Minaj as a Female

Just when I forgot all about it.

In an interview with MTV News backstage at Hot 97′s Birthday Bash, Lil Wanye finally speaks out about his decision to pull Nicki Minaj from her Summer Jam set. I’m sure, by now, that we’re all aware of the fiasco that had Nicki insulted by Peter Rosenberg right before her set resulting in Lil Wayne making an executive decision. His decision didn’t sit well with Funkmaster Flex, creating an epic phone call between Flex and Nicki where we all listened to Nicki playing tennis with Flex’s balls.  Lil Wanye didn’t like that Rosenberg disrespected Nicki as a female (yes, a female setting women back even more decades than Nicki did), but Rosenberg still will not apologize.

I don’t know what anyone else believes but I believe females deserve the ultimate respect at all times. No matter what, when, where or how. So, as soon as she called me and said that she felt disrespected, I just declined everything. I pulled her from the show because first of all no person that works with me will be disrespected in my presence as long as I’m on this planet.

Welp, if that ain’t the pot… nah, I won’t.
