Nas made a stop to talk to Tim Westwood during his European tour to promote his Life Is Good album. During the interview, Tim asked what Nas thought about Nicki’s Hot 97 beef, calling it similar to the one he had years earlier. Nas claimed it wasn’t with one of Hot 97′s personalities, then proceeded to state his feelings towards Nicki’s.

I was just happy to see them work it out…. I think the Nicki thing was more about a personality dude at the radio station. These things happen every few years. And let’s stay postivie. Radio stations, hip hop artists, can’t we all get along?…. I feel [Nicki] was right to resolve it…. I feel like she was good when she spoke on the radio and she said her piece and Flex spoke his piece. And everybody is now getting along.

 

Nas kept trying to throw in “let’s stay positive” and bored me because of it. But I love when these rappers (the true niggas) mind their business and try and stay as impartial as possible.
