Girl. And I apologize for having to send you to Jia’s site cuz I didn’t have the codes. LOL! But I agreed. Completely unprofessional, and Nicki didn’t have to be singled out. It wasn’t even her call that she was pulled from the show. She probably would’ve done it and curse people out if Wanye didn’t call her beforehand. I don’t know how Flex and Rosenberg are really justifying their actions and still blaming Young Money as if what they did was okay and YM’s reaction was wrong. Smh

UGH you have no idea how in depth I analyzed this spat. In all honesty, I don’t like Nicki Minaj; she has never really interested me. However, it was extremely unprofessional to diss and rile up the crowd against the headliner of this event. I can guarantee that the majority of people wanting to see Nicki Minaj weren’t expecting her to come out and “dance-pop” it up on her set which would include Nas and ultimately Lauryn Hill. P. Rosenberg should have just left well enough alone. Nicki has every right to be upset that she was singled out because, after all, it wasn’t just Nicki Minaj who didn’t end up performing, but rather the entire Young Money roster. Why not talk smack about everyone else who didn’t end up performing? Flex really just showed his true colors in this interview and I honestly didn’t believe or think he was being sincere in any comment he made. It was so shady and he was beating around the bush as to his PMS moment of talking smack about destroying Nicki’s career, at least in NY. WTF is that high school drama?

Yeah, I’m not feeling all of Nicki’s stuff either lately. And I would’ve left too. In my post where she speaks with The Breakfast Club, Nicki explains how it was smart to stay and perform after one of the people from the brand who booked you dissed you before your set. I completely agree.

I’m kinda torn on this one. I started out liking nikki but she has gone totally pop n I’m not feelin her no more. Everyone says that she should have stayed for her fans and just went ham on flex and the other dude. I can understand that, I hear y’all on that. But the other part of me feels like if it Were me…I would have left too. Even though flex has publicly shaded her and that song for some time (according to the east coasters) HE WAS THE ONE who was unprofessional in this situation. IF the powers that be chose her to b on the ticket he should have (on that day and in that setting) kept his personal opinion to himself. If he was a real professional he would have shut the hell up and let perform that stupid jr. High umm bop bubble gum ass song and waited til the next day in his own forum where he has free reign to roast her for the gods.
On the other hand I don’t blame her for leaving because other m’fs need to know that you don’t invite me on your set and spit in my F’kn face TF? Who ever the artist is if I were them that’s how I would feel. IJS
