Lady Gaga has officially announced her upcoming album title, ARTPOP, via Twitter and a picture posted to her website. Little Monsters everywhere have been anticipating this album, since so many people seemed to not have liked Born This Way (excluding me.) My hopes for ARTPOP is that it is somewhat similar to The Fame Monster. That was my favorite era, although most people adore The Fame. The Fame Monster was like the transition from Pop Gaga to Alternative Gaga. It was the perfect blend.

That Grape Juice also got a picture of the album’s confirmed collaborator DJ White Shadow’s tattoo making it clear this is the album title.

And please don’t mess up the title. Gaga will not be the only person to drag you if you get it wrong. Prepare for her Little Monsters to lash out at you via Twitter.

What are your hopes for the new album? I think it’ll be a light read to all those people commenting “I miss the old Gaga.” The title just screams, “I’m going to give you Pop while incorporating art and silently shading your life without you knowing.” Watch. I mean, That’s what The Fame Monster was all about. Think about it.
