With the Olympic games finally wrapped up, Louis Vuitton took no time with using Michael Phelps’ current glory in their new ad campaign. Phelps nearly bares it all in a signature navy blue speedo and goggles, sitting in a tub full of water with his Louis Vuitton tote on the floor next to him. His stoic expression is antithetical to the extreme prestige surrounding his 18 gold medal win and 22nd medal overall, making him an Olympic legend.

Now retired, I’m sure Michael will do everything to relax his awesome body after all the work it’s been through, and live comfortably with all the endorsements that’ll be coming his way. He has to make money somehow to live a comfortable life. I’m sure he’s set.

I hope that water was warm. His muscles could use the relaxation. Way to go Phelps.

UPDATE: Apparently this isn’t a new ad for Louis Vuitton – the brand claims the image was stolen. But that doesn’t mean it won’t be an ad soon.
