Nicki Minaj just released the video for her track I Am Your Leader featuring Cam’Ron and Rick Ross early this afternoon. I have to say that this track is one of the few that I enjoyed off the Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded album, and makes me wish old Nicki would please come back. The beats and semi-hard hitting lyrics always leave me pleased.

It still surprises me when rappers that are/once were so big in the game decide to work with Nicki. I guess people aren’t irked with her as much as we would think after all. They can still sit down and make a good track. But Cam’Ron expressed his devotion to Nicki’s work ethic when they appeared on 106 & Park a few months ago. Now only if she would realize this and leave songs like Starships and Pound The Alarm (that refuse to stop playing on the radio) in the dust.

I don’t know why they allowed Rick Ross to be shirtless, but they did. And they even managed to get Cam’Ron in pink. I thought they’d go crazy seeing as though it’s Nicki. I’m sure she wanted to put him in a pink dyed, polar bear coat so badly, but he had to object since he’s barely relevant and it may hurt his chances of coming back.

Over all, the video could’ve had more. I mean, it was better than Brandy’s, but they could’ve done more with all these extreme visuals. Check out the video after the jump and post your thoughts. I still love Beez In The Trap more.
