It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. Whoops!

Anderson Cooper premiered his newly renovated talk show yesterday morning and aired live for his audience. During his sit with special co-host Kristin Chenoweth, she asked him about his summer and if he “went out a lot.” Anderson had some interests things to saying about his coming out this summer all while blushing.

I came out in high school. I told my friends. I told my family. I’ve always been out to my co-workers and stuff. It’s just not something I talk about publicly, because as a reporter I didn’t think it was appropriate. It didn’t seem like it was part of my job.

 

Well see, Anderson has been out for DECADES, and I still respect his reasoning for being private. It’s not like he’s been lying this whole time. And Anderson made sure to mention it isn’t something he’s ashamed or uncomfortable of, and neither should anyone else be.
