If you’re not caught up to speed, Drake just recently graduated high school. And after his performance at Howard University’s Homecoming for their Yardfest concert, Drake made an announcement that I’m sure made several girls’ panties very moist.

Drake performed his verse on Pop That along with his tracks No Lie, The Motto, and HYFR. Drake has just been so inspired by education getting a little too excited at the bookstore, and may forego his rap career to become an educated mulatto man.

About two minutes ago, I made the decision for the last like four months… I went back to high school. I graduated high school. I went right to the bookstore and I’m trying to come to school with y’all. I don’t know if you’ll accept. I know I’m like the lightest light skinned nigga of all time, but you know I hope that I could.

 

I guess Canadian education failed him and he now wants a HBCU one. But like he said, I’m sure Howard has their fair share of history with mulattos and light skinned black folk. Do you think they want to admit another? And I wouldn’t have gone there if Drake didn’t prompt me, so don’t judge.
