Jay-Z Campaigns for President Obama

As Election Day nears, many people are trying to make the decision of whether or not to vote President Obama back into office. Jay-Z sat down to offer his endorsement for Obama saying, “when the President got into office intially, what he represented to a nation of kids was hope: the hope of people all across the country who would look and see themselves and the possibilities.”

A clip of Jay-Z’s Made In America Concert begins to play showing a clip of Obama speaking about the diversity of a person not deterring him or her from succeding in life. “That’s the promise in this country.” He admires Jay-Z for the hard work he put into his career to become the mogul he is today.

Jay-Z mentions that people have lost their hope because they didn’t think that their voice mattered. And that’s something that keeps a lot of people from succeeding and voting.

“Now people are excersing their right and you’re starting to see the power of our vote… It means something for the first time for a lot of people: having someone in office who understands how powerful our voice can be.”

I LOVE my uncle Obama’s relationship with the Carters. Two powerful families uniting as one. I’m all for unity within our country, because that compassion for another American is something that we have seemed to lose. This is indicative in the campaigns where I see a party imposing their beliefs onto other people, or how someone can actually say to me, “I don’t believe everyone should have health care.”

Check out the endorsement video after the jump and be sure to vote on November 6th.
