Azealia Banks to Collaborate with Missy Elliott

Yesterday, Azealia Banks announced on Twitter that she will be collaborating with Missy Elliott on a project soon.  I remember someone tweeting that they would love to see this pair do something together, and it looks like they’re getting their wish.

Do you think with Azealia’s hype and Missy’s outstanding talent to produce awesome beats and tracks, that these two will come together and create gold?

Nicki Minaj Doesn’t Want to Come Back to Twitter & Wants to Leave The Game

Nicki Minaj has been in London for a few days now doing promotion for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Ever since Nicki deleted her Twitter, fans and media have been in an uproar. Look at everyone feeding into this girl’s tantrum. Didn’t I tell y’all to ignore it?

Nicki sat down with Tim Westwood and discussed her Twitter account and the sale of her album. Miss Info got the exclusive listen to the interview that aired earlier this morning (4 AM EST but 9 AM UK.)

On her Twitter account:

Tim Westwood: We miss you on twitter, baby. (Nicki: Do you?) We can’t stalk you properly when you’re not on twitter. We started a trending topic, and it was strong out there. Here was our hashtag…

Nicki Minaj: (*reading outload*) #NickiMinajPleaseComeBackToTwitterWeLoveYouAndItIsntTheSameWithoutYou..

DoItForTheBarbzAndKenAndEveryoneThatLoveToWearPinkOnAFridayGiveMeLife

TM: And interestingly enough, I got “pause of the week” on twitter because of that trending topic.

Nicki: Get out! Well, welcome to the pause lifestyle. Because you ride or die for the kid! Why they mad?

TM: Are you gonna come back?

Nicki: (*pauses*)….No.

TM: For real? Come on, baby.

Nicki: Tim, I can’t.

Tim: We miss you.

Nicki: I miss my Barbs.

Tim: We want you back.

Nicki: (*English accent*) But I can’t come back. I just can’t. Don’t make me, Tim. Please don’t.

Rihanna gives us part two of her behind the scenes for the shooting of the Where Have You Been video. This video gives us a look at the wardrobe selection for the theme of the video, which is a modern take on tribal garments and accessories.

I really have to get around to listening to the track so I can see if it’ll match up with the video so far. The dudes are very hot, and it’s good to see Rihanna so involved in all aspects of her career.

Do you think the video will bring this single to #1 when it debuts? Check out the video after the jump and post your thoughts.

Don’t Talk about Blue Ivy with Kelly Rowland Around

The BeyHive and Solange aren’t the only ones disgusted with everyone’s disrespectful remarks about baby Blue Ivy. Go head Kelly Rowland.

There were all kind of reports. Poor baby Blue can’t come into the world without everyone wanting to know her business. She’s just a baby with her mother and father and all the time they have together with their baby is just between them. It’s not between the rest of the world. So every time there is a question (about them) I don’t want to say anything for their sake.

I’m so glad more people close to my sister Beyonce and niece Blue Ivy have something to say about all those haters out there. I so wish we could put them all onto a rocket and blast them off into the sun. Too much?

Kelly is such a good friend. I’m buying her next album just for that.

Dr. Dre Wants a Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye Hologram….

Sir.

It appears that Dr. Dre didn’t get enough of holograms after Tupac was ressurected during a performance for Coachella Music Festival this weekend. There has been talks about the Tupac hologram going on tour and other celebs becoming holograms, and Dre seems to be very adamant about this idea.

“I’m not sure right now, [there's] a technology that’s happening where the hologram could be 360 degrees,” Dre said, explaining how the hologram would likely evolve. “Right now it’s flat, it just looks like it’s 3-dimensional from the front, but I’m working on some new and different things for the future.”

Dre seemed to be very proud of the success of Holo-Pac, adding, “I think everybody’s in love with it right now, so we’re having fun.”

“Hopefully, different artists are able to bring out their favorite artists,” he said. “Hopefully, we can see Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye. Let’s see what happens.”

Look, I was happy when it happened but I can’t say I’d pay to see that concert. How do you guys feel about this hologram fad that seems to be building?

Check out video of TMZ talking with Dre about the hologram after the jump.

Shaunie Releases Statement about ‘BBW’ Controversy

Shaunie O’Neal, executive producer of the hit, controversial VH1 reality show Basketball Wives, has released a statement about the drama that plagues the castmates’ daily lives.

“I’m extremely happy that Basketball Wives continues to have another successful fourth season. As the ratings have been through the roof since our season opener, fans continue to tune into the lives of Evelyn, Tami, Jennifer, Royce, Suzie  and myself. As there is always controversy and indifference projected on the show, because we are all individual personalities, I always hope that people will find that as much as you may agree or disagree with the opinions, the behavior, [and] even our different taste in shoes, you are taking a look inside the lives of four complete different women. I will never say I agree with some of the behavior between my girlfriends on the show, but if we were to edit certain things out the show would be scripted and not reality.

As a woman of color with kids, I am very aware of myself, but I also have to be aware that my choices cannot be the same for everyone on the show and I have to respect that. I hope the fans feel they see a balance and know we have always been real with our stories, even though it may not always be a positive portrayal of adult women but real women nonetheless. I look forward to developing other media platforms in the future and hope that fans will continue to support.”

My greatest issue with this is – something I say time and time again: these are grown with little girl problems. I’m sorry, but y’all should know I’m not a fan of these petty reality shows that put not only women in a disparaging light, but as Shaunie said, women of color. All the arguing AND hitting over “she said behind my back” is something I left on the playground a long time ago.

How do you feel about Shaunie’s statement and the Basketball Wives controversy? Do you watch, and if so, are you entertained?

One of The Voices in Nicki’s Head Told Her to Delete Her Twitter

Nicki Minaj appeared at an album signing in London dressed as a Care Bear Kingdom candy striper in a Barbie tutu, Troll leggings, and a Hello Kitty hat. Nicki sat down on The Graham Norton Show, which premieres today, and discussed the reasoning behind deleting her Twitter.

A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that’s what I did.  I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me. I reply all the time and get to know them by name and I have a really personal bond with them… not all 11 million, but at least 10 of them a day.

When asked if she will return:

I don’t know yet, I’m thinking about it. I miss my Barbz, please bear with me.

I knew Nicki couldn’t stay away from Twitter for too long. When a child has a tantrum you just have to ignore it until she realizes you’ll only respond to her when she’s being a civilized human. Will you continue to follow her?

BEHIND THE SCENES: Rihanna, ‘Where Have You Been’

Rihanna released the video to Making of Where Have You Been: Part I, Dance Rehearsals just moments ago.  In the video, Rihanna and her choreographer Hi-Hat go over the dance rehearsals with the other back up dancers.

I know many people don’t believe Rihanna dances so well, and although that may be somewhat true, her dancers are great and those boys’ moves sent shivers… well, I’m sure you can guess the rest.

Check out the video after the jump and post your thoughts.

NSFW: Provocative Oreo Ad

This South Korean Oreo ad has been raising eyebrows all over. “[The ad] features a baby breast-feeding, with the mother’s nipple partially exposed. Alongside the ad is Oreo’s slogan: ‘Milk’s favorite cookie.’,” Huffington Post. This may be a nice way to advertise in support of breast feeding, but when you check out the actual photo after the jump, you may change your mind.

Do you think Oreo lost their mind? He is making that cookie look really good, though.
